Fae’s SMP – BlueMap Now Live!

Hey everyone! 
We’re excited to announce that the BlueMap for Fae’s SMP is now live and available for all players to explore!

BlueMap gives us a real-time, interactive 3D map of the entire SMP world — including towns, builds, roads, terrain, portals, and more. Whether you’re planning a new base, expanding your town, designing roads, or just curious what’s around the next corner, BlueMap makes exploring easier than ever.

️ What You Can Do on the Map

• Check out nearby towns & land claims

• View terrain, biomes, world height, and topography

• Show/hide markers and spawn points

• Track your location in real time

• Plan builds without needing to fly around the world

• Take screenshots of your creations

BlueMap updates automatically as players build and explore, so everything stays fresh and accurate.

BlueMap Rules & Guidelines

These rules ensure BlueMap remains safe, fun, and respectful for everyone on the server.

1. Do NOT use BlueMap for griefing

BlueMap exists to help players explore—not to target bases or break into builds.

No scouting unclaimed builds to steal
No using the map to locate hidden entrances
No following players with malicious intent

Any grief traced back to BlueMap usage = immediate ban.

2. Respect hidden / aesthetic builds

Some builds are intentionally concealed or underground for design reasons.

Please do not:

• Spoil hidden bases

• Reveal secrets from BlueMap

• Share coordinates without permission

If a player wants their area private, respect that.

️ 3. Towny Rules Still Apply

BlueMap does not override Towny permissions.

You may see an area, but that does not mean:

• You can enter it

• You can modify it

• You can loot it

• You can claim near it

Towny claim borders exist to protect all players’ spaces.

️ 4. No stalking players

Even though real-time location is optional, tracking a player repeatedly or against their wishes is harassment.

Examples of stalking:

• Following someone for long distances

• Watching from BlueMap just to intercept them

• Camping someone’s path repeatedly

Ask first. Respect boundaries.

5. Keep screenshots safe for work (or server-safe)

If posting BlueMap screenshots:

• No revealing private RP areas

• No outing someone’s RP space without approval

• No using the map to shame other players’ builds

• No posting coordinates unless the builder approves

6. Do not share the map link outside the community

For server security, only approved players should have access.

No posting:

• On public Discords

• Reddit

• Forums not associated with SnuggleSMP

• Anywhere unsafe / public

Sharing the link = warning or ban depending on intent.

️ 7. Report map errors, broken render, or chunk bugs

If you see:

• Missing chunks

• Giant holes

• Weird render seams

• Areas not updating

Send a quick message in the bug reports forum.

We’ll patch it ASAP.
